Now you can access programs found on 17勛圖厙 computers from your own device!
17勛圖厙 has deployed virtual desktops running many of the applications students use on campus that you can access from anywhere you have an internet connection on your own device (PC, Mac, tablet, smartphone, etc.). In addition to some of the programs found on the computers in the 17勛圖厙 open labs, these virtual desktops also provide access to the student H, S & T network drives. To access one of these desktops from your own device, please go to , login using the same login and password that you use when logging on to a computer on campus, then launch the "Student Desktop" icon.
If you have not set your computer login password yet, go to and then click on the Change Password link in the upper right of the screen. You will be prompted to verify your identity and then will be able to specify a password for use when logging on to campus computers.
Microsoft Office is installed locally on the virtual desktop, but each time you access a new virtual desktop, you will be prompted to activate Office using your 17勛圖厙 student e-mail account. When prompted, please click the Sign In option, then enter your student email address and the password of your student email account. If necessary, when prompted, please select the Work or School account option.
If you have any comments or suggestions regarding these virtual desktops, please contact the Library.
Since virtual desktops do not provide an optimal video viewing experience, we recommend watching videos directly on your device rather than on the virtual desktop.
